My job is just beach…

Hi hi! I’m Vicky - a British painter, illustrator, and tattoo artist.

After spending a couple of years in Hamburg, Germany, I recently moved back to England and have found home in the beautiful countryside. It’s where much of my inspiration comes from - surrounded by wildflowers, woodland, and wildlife - although one day, I dream of living by the coast.

I graduated from the University of Worcester in 2013 with a degree in Multi-Disciplinary Illustration, and since then, I’ve worked as a freelance artist across various fields - from storyboarding to character design. Between 2017 and 2022, I built a successful career as a blackwork tattoo artist, known for detailed, illustrative designs.

In 2022, I made the difficult decision to step away from tattooing to focus on personal growth and creative exploration. A trip to Italy reignited my love for painting, and since then, I’ve been diving deep into acrylic work, rediscovering the joy of creating for myself.

Now back in the UK, I’ve started easing back into tattooing - this time with a refreshed mindset. The break did me a world of good, and I’m excited to be working part-time at La Mia Via in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

My tattoo style is rooted in natural themes - think flora, fauna, and vintage scientific etchings from old, dusty textbooks or sketches in old journals. I could tattoo flowers all day, every day, and never get tired of it.

When I’m not painting, drawing, or tattooing, you’ll likely find me out in nature (camping, surfing, hiking - anything outdoorsy), hunting for treasures in second-hand shops, sipping coffee while people-watching in a cosy café, or curled up in our cottage with a sweet treat and a good book, film/TV series, or video game.

Thanks for stopping by!
